   Helping the Poor in Sri Lanka.

* Renovating homes, building and toilets for extremely poor families.
Improving living conditions by repairing unsafe homes and building durable, well-ventilated structures, along with safe, sanitary toilets that promote hygiene, reduce health risks, and restore dignity.

* Supporting Underprivileged Children.

Providing education and ongoing support to help children break the cycle of poverty. This includes covering school costs (tuition, uniforms, books, transport), along with tutoring, mentoring, and after-school programs. Children are supported in safe environments that foster life *skills, confidence, and emotional well-being. Additional support may include nutrition, healthcare, and family engagement to ensure holistic development.

Improving access to healthcare in rural areas.

Expanding rural healthcare by upgrading clinics, deploying mobile units, and training local health workers. Ensuring access to medicines, strengthening referrals, and using telemedicine to reach remote areas, with a focus on preventive care like vaccinations, maternal health, nutrition, and health education to improve outcomes and reduce disparities.

* Empowering women through skills training and economic opportunities.

Supporting women through skills training, financial literacy, and access to microfinance or small business opportunities—promoting financial independence, confidence, leadership, and greater gender equality.

* Supporting disaster relief efforts, especially during floods and economic hardship.
Providing emergency food, water, shelter, and medical aid during crises, followed by support for recovery through home repairs, sanitation, and cash assistance. Long-term efforts focus on rebuilding livelihoods and strengthening community resilience through preparedness and risk reduction.
