About Us
Mankind Sweden (NGO) is an international non-governmental organization established in May 1997. Its mission is to support millions of people in developing democratic countries by fostering the principles of democracy, justice, and human rights. The organization focuses on strengthening these core values in nations where they are most needed.
Since its inception, Mankind Sweden (N.G.O) has engaged with numerous heads of state from leading industrial nations, including India, as well as with the United Nations. These collaborations aim to identify and implement effective strategies for promoting democracy, justice, and human rights in developing democracies.
Sri Lanka is a country that has faced significant crises in the past. At Mankind, we strongly believe that the nation’s progress can be greatly enhanced by strengthening human rights, upholding democratic principles, and implementing effective economic reforms.
We would like to emphasize that Mankind Sweden (NGO) engaged with Sri Lankan government leaders on numerous occasions during the country’s internal civil war, striving to find solutions to bring an end to the conflict.
The newly elected President came to power with a commitment to zero tolerance for racism, equal rights for all citizens, and a strong stance against corruption. We must all come together to support the President of Sri Lanka and his government, who won a majority in parliament. By working in cooperation with the government and citizens, we can help implement a true democracy in Sri Lanka.
We must also work together to help lift the country from its past financial crisis and create hope and opportunities for the citizens of Sri Lanka. The difference will be clear when we care and take action. Let us all awaken to the cause and work together through the Mankind Project to make a lasting impact.
At Mankind Sweden (N.G.O), we believe in thinking positively and working with purpose. We welcome anyone with positive ideas to share them with us and join in making those ideas a reality.
Achievement doesn’t demand extraordinary abilities. It is the result of applying ordinary abilities with extraordinary persistence. Together, we can achieve extraordinary persistence.
